比賽起點︰香港海事博物館 （香港島中環8號碼頭）
比賽地區：維港兩岸

比賽形式：限時240分鐘，以奪分制形式進行，在限定時間內到達不同的增分點並在終點回答與海運業相關問題，以積累最高分的隊伍為勝出。超時到達終點會被扣分， 超時10分鐘或以上不計算成績。

本賽事大會將採用手機（Android V4.4或以上， IOS 9.0或以上）應用程式作打咭、計時及計分系統，參賽隊伍需於賽前在一部手機安裝並確保比賽期間能如常使用。(須設置開啟全球定位功能 Global Positioning System) 。出發後和返回終點前不需要連接網絡。具體應用程式的使用方法將於比賽前兩個星期公佈。
